Meeting with Carmelite Nuns of Kuching

Venue: Carmelite Monastery, Kuching (Visitor’s Parlour)
Time: 3.30 pm – 5.00 pm
Activities: 1. Meeting with Carmelite Nuns, to know more about St. Teresa and the life of Carmelite Nuns in Kuching.
- Pray Vespers (Evening prayer) with them.
Welcome – Young girls/Single adults (Age 15 – 45)
The Carmelite Nuns’ community has dwindled. There are now only nine members and most of them are quite advanced in age. The rebuilding of the monastery was completed in 2018. As God’s House of Prayer, and in conjunction with their Foundress – St. Teresa’s Feast Day, the community is opening their visitor’s parlour for girls interested to know more about Carmelite life, etc.
Young girls or single adults are invited to meet with the Nuns at the Carmelite Monastery visitors’ parlour from 3.30pm – 5.00pm on 15 October. They look forward to your response to God’s call to join Kuching Carmel.
