SRI AMAN — On 13 April 2025, the faithful of Our Lady Queen of Peace (OLQP), Sri Aman, joyfully celebrated Palm Sunday, commemorating Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. The Mass, presided over by Rev Fr Joseph Chai, began with a blessed palm procession from the Shrine into the Church, symbolising our welcome of Christ as our King.

Together in faith, together in hope. The Sri Aman Parishioners gather at the Shrine of Our Lady to begin Holy Week with palms raised high! Who else is ready to walk with Jesus this week?

As the congregation waved their palm fronds and sang “Hosanna!”, Fr Joseph reminded everyone in his homily: “Just as these palms signify victory, let us walk with Jesus not only in joy but also through His Passion and Resurrection.”

The liturgy blended solemnity and hope, preparing hearts for the sacred journey of Holy Week.
