SRI AMAN — On 27 June 2025, 50 LG members led by Parish Rector Fr Nicholas Ng, made a pilgrimage to Mt Hosanna Chapel with programmes that included praying the Rosary, Divine Mercy devotion, refreshment on arrival and lunch prepared by the Guild members of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Sri Aman.
The highlight was the Holy Mass concelebrated by Fr. Jerome Juleng and Fr Nicholas Ng.
Fr Jerome warmly welcomed the many pilgrims from Sabah, Kuching, Bau, and also the parishioners from Sri Aman.
In his Homily, Fr Nicholas emphasised that the Lord is truly present in the Eucharist, the foundation of our Faith and that the Parable of the Good Shepherd should remind God’s children of His immense love.
Many of the senior members were very happy with the accessibility of the 201 modified steps up to the Chapel. The participants welcomed the chance to participate on this day trip to Mt Hosanna, a memorable day spent in prayer and deep reflection on a journey to be open to God’s grace.
On the return journey, the bus suffered a puncture, but all was well and safe by God’s grace. After a delay with the change to a new tyre, everyone arrived back in Kuching after 6.00 pm.
