KUCHING — The Islamic Information Centre-Majlis Islam Sarawak (IIC-MIS) in collaboration with the Regional Islamic Da’wah Council of Southeast Asia and the Pacific (RISEAP), JAKIM Sarawak, and HIKMAH Sarawak organised a special programme titled “Understanding Islam: How to Be a Good Muslim” from 13–17 May 2025.

The objective was to create awareness among youth on how to be a good Muslim by promoting mutual respect and maintaining strong interfaith relations. 60 youths from various countries: Malaysia, Cambodia, Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, Brunei, and Vietnam participated.

As part of their activities to gain valuable insights into the rich religious and cultural history of the Christian community in Sarawak, they visited the History Gallery at the Archdiocesan Curia & Cathedral Pastoral Centre (ACCPC) on 15 May 2025.
