KUCHING — Church of Mother Mary, Stutong’s Bible and Faith Formation Subcommittee organised two events in conjunction with the Bible Month of July 2025.
On 5 July 2025 (Saturday), a Basic Bible Awareness Program was held and attended by some of its parishioners.
The aim of organising this program was to create basic awareness pertaining to the Catholic Bible by helping participants to be familiar with the Catholic Bible.
On 27 July 2025 (Sunday) after the morning Mass, with the help of the Church’s Sunday School Facilitators, the Church organised Singing, Skit and Story Telling Performances pertaining to Biblical Events (Old Testament Period and New Testament Period). These performances were performed by the Church’s Sunday School Students ranging from Sunday School Year 1 to Year 10.
The event started with the Enthronement of the Holy Bible by Msgr William Sabang, Church of Mother Mary, Stutong’s Rector.
The Church’s Ladies Guild members and Legion of Mary members supported this event by opening food stalls and engaging sale of ice cream as part of the Church’s Coffee Morning activity.
This event was attended by parents of Sunday School Students and other parishioners as well.
