KOTA SENTOSA — Sacred Heart Church, Kota Sentosa, joyfully celebrated its annual parish fiesta on 14 September 2025 with the theme “Celebrating Christ’s Love.” The event, held from 7.00 am to 2.00 pm, brought together parishioners, families, and friends in a spirit of thanksgiving, unity, and fellowship.

The fiesta was organised as part of the parish’s fundraising efforts in support of Church development, ongoing maintenance, and strengthening communion among parishioners. In the weeks leading up to the celebration, pre-sales were actively carried out at the parish grounds and in the surrounding chapels in nearby kampungs.

The celebration began with a simple but meaningful opening ceremony, marked by the striking of the gong seven times by Parish Priest Rev Fr Felix Au, symbolising the fullness of God’s blessings upon the parish community.

The programme featured performances from the Chinese Sunday School children and the Parish Youth Ministry, who captivated the crowd with their songs and cultural presentations. These performances reflected the vibrant diversity and youthful energy of the parish.

In a special highlight, His Grace Archbishop Simon Poh also graced the occasion with his presence, joining parishioners in their celebration.

The fiesta was not only a time of fun, food, and fellowship but also a meaningful witness of parish unity. Through their joyful participation and generous support, parishioners once again reaffirmed their shared mission of living out Christ’s love in the heart of Kota Sentosa.
