KUCHING — To expose students to the different ministries in the Parish, the Bible and Faith Formation Committee (BFFC) Sunday School (English Session) of Blessed Sacrament Church, organised an hour-long ‘Pastoral Talks’ session at the Parish Hall on 17 March 2024.

Representatives from the Altar Servers, Emmaus Youth, Choir, Legion of Mother Mary, Boys’ Brigade, and Girls’ Brigade were allocated 15 minutes each to give as much information as they could of their respective ministries so the students could see how they too, could be part of the Church community by serving in the ministries.

About 300 students aged 8–18 years of age attended the Talks. Pastoral attachment forms had been given out earlier so that they could apply to join their choice of ministry after the Talks.

This is the second such event organised by the Sunday School after the Covid-19 pandemic. It is hoped this can be held annually to expose and groom students to serve the Parish.
