KUCHING — The Good Friday Stations of the Cross is an annual event organised by the Blessed Sacrament English and Chinese Session Sunday School. This year, it was back to doing the procession around the Church.
This event commemorates the Triduum Good Friday and brings awareness to parents, guardians and children, to appreciate the tradition of doing the Stations of the Cross with their children and to help parents and children have a deeper understanding of our Lord Jesus Christ’s sacrifice and crucifixion on the Cross.
The Stations of the Cross began in the Church at 8.00 am on 18 April 2025. Two students each from the English Sunday school and the Chinese Sunday school led the stations of the Cross. It finished at 9.00 am.
The Divine Mercy Novena led by the Servant Communities Emmaus started at 10 am, and some parents and students stayed over to attend.
