Social Welfare Council of Sarawak committee members attend CWS briefing

KUCHING — Catholic Welfare Services (CWS) organised a briefing on 25 October 2025 for the Social Welfare Council regarding the welfare services provided and the relevant guidelines of CWS. The Chairman of CWS, Mr Jacob Wong briefed the committee members of the Sarawak Welfare Council led by the President, Datin Sri Dona Drury Wee.

The briefing was held at CWS office. The interactive session was fruitful for both organisations fostering better understanding, cooperation and networking in our common effort to serve more effectively the community faced with different kinds of social problem and needs. We were informed by the President that the Social Welfare Council of Sarawak consists of 46 different kinds of Welfare Organisations in Sarawak, where membership is by Organisations not by individuals. CWS is one of the 46 members of the council.
