KUCHING — The colourful Kuching Christmas Parade returned on 6 December 2025, embracing the heartfelt theme of “The Season of Love and Hope.” This celebrated event stands as a symbol of harmony, unity, and hope, aiming to spread good news and blessings throughout the community of Kuching.
The parade commenced with praise and worship before embarking on a 4 KM route, starting from the MBKS Jubilee Ground. Joyful Christmas carols filled the air enthralling bystanders lining the streets to watch the floats and marching bands.
The annual event was organised by the Association of Churches in Sarawak. A total of 72 churches from various denominations – the Roman Catholic Church, Anglican Church, Methodist Church SCAC, Methodist Church SIAC, BEM (SIB) Church, Seventh-Day Adventist Church, The Salvation Army, Sarawak Baptist Church, and Sarawak Blessed Church, as well as the Sarawak Evangelical Christian Association also took part.
