By 16th Kuching Company The Boys’ Brigade
KUCHING – The 16th Kuching Company The Boys’ Brigade at St Joseph’s Cathedral recently lost two brothers in Christ, Lt Dr Jonathan Chin Ching Ming and Cpl Ryan Jorai Anak Lukiet.
Jonathan was a compassionate and dedicated doctor who devoted his life to serving others. Guided by kindness, humility, and a strong sense of duty, he cared for those in need with sincerity and love. Through his service and daily life, he became a source of comfort, hope, and inspiration to many.
Jonathan was called home to the Lord on 29 March 2026, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, generosity, and faithful service.
Ryan was a joyful, humorous, and energetic young man who loved music and singing. He was well loved for his warm personality and his ability to bring happiness to those around him.
A Prefect at school and an active member of St Peter’s Church and the 16th Kuching Company, Ryan served others with sincerity and enthusiasm. His youthful spirit, kindness, and dedication touched many lives.
Ryan was called home to the Lord on 29 May 2026, leaving behind cherished memories of joy, kindness, and faithful service.
May the souls of Lt Dr Jonathan Chin Ching Ming and Cpl Ryan Jorai Anak Lukiet, and all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
