KUCHING — The 2025 Jubilee Year theme “Pilgrims of Hope” encourages Catholics to be beacons of hope. To perpetuate God’s mercy as pilgrims of hope, some 200 plus parishioners of Blessed Sacrament Church (BSC) and St Joseph’s Cathedral (SJC) Kuching, embarked on a pilgrimage to the Gethsemane Pilgrimage Centre in Bunan on 26 July.
Arriving as separate convoys, the pilgrims gathered for Holy Mass celebrated by BSC rector Fr Leonard Yap before praying the Stations of the Cross devotion in the Garden of Gethsemane. The group from St Joseph’s Cathedral included praise and worship and holy hour in their pilgrimage.
