KUCHING — On 2 August 2026, more than 300 parishioners from the different ministries of Blessed Sacrament Church, gathered for the third consecutive year for an afternoon of prayer, fellowship, fun, and entertainment in a spirit of friendship and unity.

In her welcome speech, Pauline Lim, chairperson of the Parish Pastoral Council, thanked Anthony Then and his team for organising the event. She encouraged those present to “mix around, be at home, make friends” and to “build a vibrant community to serve each other.” Pauline thanked parish rector Fr Leonard Yap for his presence and for blessing the fellowship, and former parish rector Fr Patrick Heng for attending the event.

Fr Leonard also encouraged those present to use the occasion to “form friendships” and enjoy the wide spread of local fruits and delicacies the Lord had provided.
