KUCHING — The Alpha journey continues beyond Kuching, with young people across Malaysia invited to take part in the upcoming Alpha Catholic Youth Leadership Conference 2026.
Held on 14–15 November 2026 at ACCPC, Kuching, the two-day conference is organised by Alpha Malaysia in partnership with the Kuching Archdiocesan Youth Commission (KAYC).
Under the theme “I AM”, inspired by Exodus 3, the conference will invite young people to explore who God is, who they are and what it means to live and lead as young Catholics today.
Participants can look forward to:
• Keynote and plenary sessions exploring faith, identity and what it means to be truly human in today’s world
• Practical leadership workshops on leading like Jesus, living out faith beyond Sunday, and responding to the needs around us
• Small-group sharing and opportunities to connect with other young Catholic leaders
• Holy Hour and prayer
• Mass and opportunities for fellowship
• A vibrant space to learn, encounter, connect and be equipped for mission
Importantly, the conference will feature multi-lingual sessions, making it possible for young Catholics from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds to participate and engage meaningfully.
Whether you are already actively serving in your parish, just beginning to explore leadership, or simply wondering what God might be calling you to, this conference is an invitation to take the next step.
