Ngiling Bidai to end Gawai Dayak 2026

Gawai Dayak 2026 at the Church of Mother Mary, Stutong ended with the “Ngiling Bidai” Ceremony which involves the “Rolling of the Mat” held on 27 June 2026 with a Pot-Bless Fellowship followed by an evening of fun and traditional performances by way of Traditional Dayak Dance and Iban Ngajat. The evening was filled with Karaoke Performances and dances to the beat of the songs.

On 22 July 2026, the Legion of Mary, Kuching Comitium, successfully organised the 5th Annual Legion of Mary Junior Praesidia Gathering 2026 at St. Joseph's International School, Kuching. The programme was planned and coordinated by the ‘Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted’ Junior Praesidium, bringing together 98 junior legionaries from six Junior Praesidia for a joyful and spiritually enriching day of prayer, faith formation, fellowship, and fun.
