KUCHING — For the third time, the rosary came alive on 5 October 2025 reciting the Glorious Mysteries, a tradition by the Holy Trinity English Sunday School initiated in October 2023 to mark the Rosary Month of October.
Parents and families were gathered making the rosary visual and interactive at the Good Shepherd Hall. The living rosary formation was made up of teachers and students with each representing a bead leading one prayer of the rosary aligned to his or her position in the Rosary. The rector Fr Eugeno Gocela Maglasang SDB, began by addressing the fellowship of meditating the rosary. With the hall darkened, the recitation of each prayer began with the lighting of candles from a small Paschal Candle until the whole rosary was lit with a chain of the lighted candle ending with a Marian Song.
This was followed by the presentation of Certificates of Confirmation to the nine confirmands who went through the rite performed by His Grace Archbishop Simon Poh at the Sunset Mass on 4 October.
