KUCHING — On 21 June 2026, 10 children from St Peter’s Sunday school were baptised by Fr Christopher Laden.
The children donned in white, sat on the front row of the pew as they waited patiently and anxiously with their godparents, parents, family members and friends for their baptism.
Fr Christopher delivered a powerful homily in which he stated that parents as guardians of the children, must be responsible in nurturing their faith and help them grow in holiness as children of God. After the baptism, Fr Christopher congratulated and welcomed the children and parents for a photo session.
In the gospel of Mark 16:16 – “Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved, whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Amen.
