KUCHING — The annual Sunday School Stations of the Cross was held on Good Friday, 3 April 2026. This meaningful event remains an important tradition organised by the Sunday School of Blessed Sacrament Church (BSC) to help children and parents reflect on the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ and deepen their understanding of His sacrifice on the Cross.

As in the previous year, the Stations of the Cross took the form of a procession around the Church compound, allowing an estimated 300 participants to journey together prayerfully through each station. The session began at 8:00 am in the Church, with both the English and Chinese Sunday School groups combined.

Students actively participated by leading the prayers for each station, with representatives from both the English and Chinese sessions taking turns. This encouraged greater involvement and helped to form a sense of unity among the children.

The Stations of the Cross concluded at approximately 9:00 am. Following the session, a few parents and students remained in the Church to attend the Divine Mercy Novena at 10:00 am, led by members from Servant Communities Emmaus.

Overall, the event served as a valuable opportunity for families to come together in prayer and reflection, while encouraging parents to continue the practice of the Stations of the Cross with their children.
